The Oklahoma State Cowboys have seen an offseason full of players entering the transfer portal, but now they’re starting to bring in some new faces. On Saturday, the Cowboys landed former Iowa WR, Arland Bruce.

The sophomore from Olathe, Kansas posted 19 catches for 187 yards and one score for the Hawkeyes in the 2022 season, and with a needy Oklahoma State WR room, Bruce is a very solid addition.

Bruce announced his decision via Twitter with a picture of himself riding horse sporting a cowboy hat with a caption that reads, “Mama I’m a Cowboy.”

Coming out of high school, Bruce was a four-star prospect and ranked as the No. 5 player in Kansas, along with being the No. 21 athlete in the country, according to 247Sports.

For the OSU Cowboys, the Bruce news came just one hour after adding WR Tykie Andrews to the position group adding some major upside potential. Andrews finished his senior season at Enid High School totaling 1,551 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns.

The Oklahoma State Cowboys are adding some much-needed help among the young receiver group, and with the addition of Arland Bruce IV, they are in good company.
