TCU’s basketball team is coming off a disappointing loss against West Virginia which gave the Mountaineers their first conference win of the 2022 season. After beating the 11th-ranked Kansas State Wildcats last week, many believed that this TCU team could contend for a title but in Saturday’s match-up with West Virginia, the Horned Frogs looked dazed and confused.
The Horned Frogs’ celebration for the football team would be a much better event if the basketball team is able to beat Oklahoma in what should be a tough contest. While OU doesn’t have a spectacular record to start things off this season, the majority of their games have been decided by one possession.
TCU needs to continue to compete in the Big 12 where any team can pull out a victory. The Horned Frogs play the 2nd-ranked Kansas Jayhawks on Saturday in which should be their biggest test of the season.
