The TCU Horned Frogs are coming off arguably their biggest season in school history after making an appearance in the College Football Playoff National Championship game against Georgia.
They used the momentum from a massive season to land one of the best transfer classes in the country, as well as the No. 19 recruiting class in the 2023 class, according to 247Sports.
Sonny Dykes and the Horned Frogs could be looking to add another piece to the 2023 class as well, and a big fish at that.
According to Brandon Huffman of 247Sports, TCU is making a push for Jaden Rashada, the former Florida signee and No. 6 quarterback in the 2023 class.
Last week, Rashada made headline news after requesting to be released from his NLI when a reported $13,000,000 name, image, and likeness deal with a collective fell through.
Not only is TCU making a push for the five-star signal-caller, but they have landed an official visit from Rashada, who will reportedly be in Fort Worth this weekend.
Jeremy Clark, the publisher for HornedFrogBlitz on 247Sports, confirmed this today on Twitter, as well as confirming that TCU offensive coordinator Kendal Briles was in California visiting the coveted 2023 recruit.
If TCU were to find a way to add Rashada, it would be a major bow to put on their best class in recent memory.
It won’t be an easy fight though, as Colorado, Arizona State, and Cal are doing everything they can to bring Rashada is as well. Either way, a visit from one of the best quarterback recruits in the country is plenty of reason for excitement.
