Ryan Howard, Younger Brother of Will Howard, Commits to K-State

As the younger brother of K-State’s QB1 Will Howard, Ryan Howard has been up close and personal with the Wildcats in recent seasons, and clearly Howard likes Manhattan as he has decided to join his brother. The behemoth of a man stands at 6-foot-7 and weighs 320 pounds, adding a massive developmental player on the offensive line for Chris Klieman and the Cats.

Howard is a three-star recruit from Pennsylvania who committed to K-State as part of the Class of 2024. Ryan Howard turned down offers from Bowling Green, Maryland, Temple, Syracuse, and West Virginia to team up with his older brother in Manhattan.

According to the On3 rankings, Howard is the No. 25 player in Pennsylvania in the 2024 class and is also listed as the No. 54 interior offensive lineman in the country. The future Wildcat gives K-State some extra depth at the offensive line group and could potentially block for his brother pending any early entries for the NFL Draft process by Will Howard.

Howard joins his older brother and fellow offensive lineman Jalen Klemm from the 2022 class as Pennsylvania natives to commit to K-State. Older brother Will Howard was the first player in a long time to head to K-State from Pennsylvania, followed by offensive lineman from the 2022 class, Jalen Flemm, and now becoming the third Pennsylvanian to join the Cats in the Chris Klieman era is OL Ryan Howard.

Kansas State’s 2023 Class is ranked in the Top 40 in the country, with the 2024 Class currently ranking 41st.
