College GameDay Heading to Kansas vs. Baylor Game

College GameDay is headed to Lawrence to watch the best conference in basketball. Kansas and Baylor are two of the top teams in the Big 12 Conference and they clash on Saturday, February 18th.

The Kansas Jayhawks have another Bill Self Top-10 team on their hands and in their matchup with Scott Drew and 14th-ranked Baylor, College GameDay will be in attendance.

 

While Jayhawks fans have been spoiled with multiple College GameDay experiences in recent years, GameDay is announcing a special two-hour-long broadcast for the pregame show between the Big 12 heavyweights.

Baylor and Kansas were featured on the show on February 22nd, 2020, when both teams were ranked in the Top 5. Baylor won that game 64-61.

The Kansas Jayhawks are led by Jalen Wilson who is having a historically great season and is on pace to potentially win the Wooden Award, given to the best college basketball player in the country. Wilson is averaging 20.7 PPG alongside 8.5 RPG on 42.3% shooting.

 

The Baylor Bears are led by superstar backcourt duo Adam Flagler and Keyonte George. Flagler is averaging 15.4 PPG and just shy of 5 assists per game. George is also having an impressive season by leading the bears with 17.5 PPG, 4.4 RPG, and three assists per contest.

The two teams clash with hopes of continuing to fight in the brutal Big 12 Conference, as this game is likely to play a role in who wins the regular season title in the league.
