Kansas Jayhawks Football 2023 Schedule, Results

NCAA Football: Texas at Kansas

The Kansas Jayhawks will play seven home games and five road games as the Jayhawks will take on the rest of the Big 12 Conference in 2023.

The Jayhawks will open the season at home on a Thursday night, hosting Missouri State on Aug. 31 at 7 p.m. After that, the Jayhawks will host Illinois on Sept. 19 and then travel to Nevada on Sept. 16 to wrap up non-conference play.

Kansas will open Big 12 play with a home game against new Big 12 member BYU on Sept. 23 and play its first Big 12 road game at Texas the following Saturday on Sept. 30.

The Jayhawks will play five home games and four road games in Big 12 action. Along with BYU, the Jayhawks will host UCF, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, and Kansas State.

Along with Texas, the Jayhawks will travel to Oklahoma State, Iowa State, and Cincinnati.

The Jayhawks will play three of the Big 12’s new members this season. Cincinnati, Houston, and UCF are migrating to the Big 12 from the American Athletic Conference. BYU has been an independent in football since leaving the Mountain West after the 2010 season.

The Jayhawks will not play Houston. The Jayhawks also won’t play Baylor, TCU, and West Virginia.

The Big 12 Championship Game will be played on Saturday, Dec. 2, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, at a time to be announced.
