Big 12 Baseball Championship to be Played at Globe Life Field May 24-28
The Phillips 66 Big 12 Baseball Championship will be played at GlobeLife Field in Arlington, Texas on May 24-28, as announced by the venue on Thursday.
“Globe Life Field is excited to host an epic championship where some of the most prestigious college baseball programs in the nation will battle it out for the title of Big 12 Baseball Champion,” the site said.
Tickets for the event will go on sale to the public on Friday, February 17 at 10:00 a.m. CT.
Last season, the Oklahoma Sooner rode hot bats and strong performances on the mound to a Big 12 Tournament Championship. Then, against all odds, the Sooners rode the wave of momentum to an appearance in the Championship Series in Omaha against Ole Miss.
In 2023, the Sooners are picked to finish fifth in the conference, while TCU is the favorite to win the conference followed by Oklahoma State and Texas Tech.
As it was a season ago, the Big 12 race will likely be tightly contested and entertaining to the end, with several teams in the conference capable of making a run to win the league title at the end of the year.
