Watch: Jerome Tang Mic’d Up on College GameDay

Jerome Tang has quickly become one of the best coaches in the Big 12 Conference, and one of the biggest stages in college basketball highlighted his incredible first season.

College GameDay debuted a segment of the show that showed the first-year head coached mic’d up at K-State’s recent practice ahead of Saturday’s game with Iowa State. With high expectations for the man responsible for dancing with the crowd after home wins, the heart and soul of K-State delivered.

You can see Tang’s clip below.

The 12th-ranked Wildcats are primed and ready to get back on track against the 19th-ranked Iowa State Cyclones in a Top 25 matchup at Bramlage Coliseum on Saturday afternoon. Jerome Tang’s bunch needs to snag a win as they’ve been in a bit of a slump as of late following back-to-back losses against Texas Tech and Oklahoma. Overall, the Wildcats have lost four of their past five games. However, the Wildcats love playing in front of their home crowd at Bramlage, where they are 13-1 on the season.

The Wildcats and Cyclones tip off at 1:00 CST in what is going to be a major game for both programs as the NCAA Tournament approaches.
