NCAA Basketball: Kansas State at Saint Louis

In case you’ve been wondering what a traveling fanbase sounds like, the Kansas State Wildcats showed up to a match up with the Oklahoma State Cowboys on Saturday and Wildcats fans made themselves known at the Gallagher-Iba Arena.

Approaching the final 25 seconds of regulation the 14th-ranked Wildcats had sealed the deal and clung to a seven point lead. With Oklahoma State set to inbound the ball, chants from K-State fans shook the arena.

The “K-S-U” chants filled the arena with the Wildcats on their way to their 10th win in Big 12 play this season leaving many to wonder just how many fans made the trip to Stillwater.

The Wildcats season has been anything but routine under first-year head coach Jerome Tang as the K-State earned their second sweep of Tang’s coaching career in Saturday’s 73-68 win over Oklahoma State.

With two games left in the regular season, the Wildcats have matchups with Oklahoma and West Virginia remaining on the schedule as Tang and the Wildcats look to continue their run towards 12 wins in Big 12 play.

Kansas State Wildcats have some of the best fans in the Big 12 and following the win against the Cowboys, the Wildcats and the Sooners tip off on Wednesday to start the month of March off at 7 PM CST.
