Big 12 Conference Selects Artist P.L. to Create Big 12 Basketball Anthem

NCAA Basketball: Big 12 Championship-Iowa State vs West Virginia

The Big 12 Conference is getting an official anthem for Big 12 Basketball. The Big 12 elected to go with artist P.L. to create and compose an official anthem to play alongside highlight tapes, stadium entrances, and anything else that falls under the Big 12 basketball category.

The Big 12 tournament officially starts up in Kansas City on Wednesday at the T-Mobile Center with the Texas Tech Red Raiders taking on the West Virginia Mountaineers at 6 PM CST, followed by Oklahoma and Oklahoma State tipping off at 8:30 PM CST.

Artist P.L. worked on a creation and the idea became what is going to be known as “No Nights Off” which is a fitting title for the Big 12 Conference this season. Whether it be the lowest ranked team in the Big 12 Conference upsetting the number one team in the country at the time in Alabama, or the TCU Horned Frogs beating the Kansas Jayhawks at Allen Field House by double digits, this conference is legit.

While many people will look at their conference tournament and say something along the lines of, “anyone can win it,” the Big 12 is the definition of that statement. Each team in the Big 12 conference has a legitimate chance to go on a run and win the Big 12 Tournament this season.

Currently, Joe Lunardi has eight teams dancing in March Madness this season with the only exceptions being Oklahoma and Texas Tech. While both aren’t supposed to make the tournament, with a major run in March, there is still a small chance that either team could find their way in if crowned tournament champions.
