Jennie Baranczyk’s Daughter Goes Viral Cheering on Oklahoma Women’s Basketball Team

In one of the best fan reactions in recent memory, Oklahoma head coach Jennie Baranczyk’s daughter, Jordi Baranczyk is going viral for her celebrations cheering on her mom’s team, the Oklahoma Sooners.

The fifth-ranked Oklahoma Sooners took on the four-seed UCLA Bruins yesterday in the second round of the NCAA Tournament and while the Sooners did end up losing 82-73, that didn’t stop Jordi Baranczyk from getting hype.

The Big 12 Champions season was cut short in the round of 32 despite a solid team effort that saw guard Madi Williams score 24 points with six assists and two rebounds.

Unfortunately for the Big 12 Conference, with Oklahoma’s 82-73 loss to UCLA, Texas’ 73-51 blowout loss to Louisville, and Baylor’s 77-58 loss against UConn, all of the teams in the Big 12 Conference have been bounced from the tournament.

While a long offseason awaits each team, the Oklahoma Sooners did have a tremendous season under Jennie Baranczyk finishing the season off at 26-7 overall with a conference record of 14-4 and a split share of the Big 12 title with Vic Schaefer and the Texas Longhorns. NCAA Tournament history isn’t always made in wins but with the reaction of Jordi Baranczyk, fans will surely remember it for a while.
