K-State G Markquis Nowell Contacted by Kentucky Coach John Calipari

In case you may have missed it, Kentucky head coach John Calipari has been going viral following the loss against K-State in the round of 32 for calling Markquis Nowell “the little kid.“
Nowell scored 27 points and nine assists and made some of the most incredible rainbow 3-pointers over multiple tall Kentucky defenders which prompted these comments from Calipari.
In the days following the outrage on social media, the start point guard from the Wildcats tweeted out an update on the situation saying that he and coach Cal had spoken, and things were all good.
Nowell was an absolute game-changer for K-State and put on a performance that will be remembered by fans nationwide after slaying the beast that is Kentucky.
The Wildcats take on another hall-of-fame coach in Tom Izzo on Thursday at 5:30 in Madison Square Garden as Kansas State and Michigan State duke it out with a trip to the Elite Eight on the line.
