Watch: K-State Football Mimics Basketball’s Sweet 16 Highlights in Locker Room

The Kansas State Wildcats are in the midst of a historic run right now, and it’s not the one you’re thinking of. K-State’s social media team has been knocking it out of the park with social media content lately, and in the most recent example, Deuce Vaughn, Will Howard and various other members of the K-State football team mimicked some of the highlights from the Sweet 16 game against Michigan State.
With Vaughn, Felix Anudike-Uzomah and Julius Brents returning for their pro day, the old guys teamed up with the young guys to make one of the best highlight tapes in Kansas State social media history.
While Vaughn impersonating Markquis Nowell isn’t something I had on my bingo card for the 2023 season, it without a doubt was one of the funniest pieces of content I’ve seen this year. Teaming up with Vaughn is Howard playing the role of Keyontae Johnson, Julius Brents as Ismael Massoud and Jerome Tang, while Felix Anudike-Uzomah played all of Michigan State.
K-State’s social media team has been showing off at this point, as the university ranked first among all remaining teams in the Sweet 16 in terms of impressions with a whopping 17M. While some people may look at these clips and see players having a good time, this is a gold mine for recruiting, as more players nationwide are starting to learn about the gem in Manhattan, Kan.
If the Wildcats can take down the FAU Owls at 5 CT this evening, expect another hilarious impersonation from the K-State football team, as the week prior they nailed the highlights against Kentucky as well.
