Kansas advanced to the championship game of the Women’s NIT Tournament with a 61-36 Fab Four victory over Washington at Allen Fieldhouse on Wednesday.

Kansas (24-12) will seek its first WNIT title when it faces Columbia later this week. The Lions defeated Bowling Green, 77-70, on Tuesday. Kansas is also seeking to be the first Big 12 women’s team to win the WNIT title since Oklahoma State in 2012. The furthest the Jayhawks have ever been in the WNIT is the third round.
