Robert Griffen III: ‘Bijan Robinson is the Best Player in the Draft’

Texas running back Bijan Robinson is the best running back prospect in the 2023 NFL Draft, and the most intriguing player at his position since Saquon Barkley came out of Penn State in 2018.
Robinson has all the intangibles to be a day-one starter in an NFL backfield and brings elite athleticism to whatever offensive scheme he is placed this week.
Naturally, the former Texas running back is sparking a lot of conversation as to where he will go, should go, or could go in this week’s draft, and ESPN’s Robert Griffen III is raving about Bijan’s ability.
In a recent segment of “Fact or Fiction” on ESPN’s Get Up, RGIII was posed with this statement: Bijan Robinson the best player in the draft.
“That’s a Snapple cap fact right there,” Griffen said. “Bijan Robinson does everything from the running back position. He can catch the ball out of the backfield, run inside and outside. He had 183 broken tackles over the last two years in college football. The next closest guy had 123. Bijan Robinson is the real deal Holyfield.”
Robinson is projected to go in the First Round by nearly every mock draft out there, and likely won’t have to wait too long on Thursday night to hear his name called.
The 2023 NFL Draft is scheduled for Thursday, April 27 – Saturday, April 29, 2023, with Kansas City serving as the host city for the event.
