Five-Star Guard Bronny James Commits to USC

High School Basketball: HoopHall Class Tournament-Perry High School at Sierra Canyon School

It’s official. The biggest name in college basketball has found his home. Five-star guard Bronny James, son of LeBron James, has announced his commitment to USC.

James is not only a massive name, but he also happens to be one of the best players in the entire country. After many believed Bronny would make his way to USC to stay close to home, and team up with his former teammate Isiah Collier, Bronny confirmed his decision Saturday afternoon.

James is ranked as a five-star combo guard by On3 Industry Rankings, as well as the 23rd-ranked player in the nation. Bronny is the third-ranked CG in the country and the fifth-ranked player in California.

While Bronny waited a while to announce his commitment, the USC Trojans now have landed three of the top 50 players in the nation and should become a hot landing spot for incoming freshmen.

Bronny selected the Trojans over the likes of Memphis, Ohio State, and more electing to form one of the best backcourts in the entire country in Southern California. James joins a Trojans squad that finished 22-11 the year prior, and with one of the nation’s top recruiting classes this year, USC should be miles better than in 2022.
