Angelo State Transfer WR Noah Massey Commits to West Virginia

While the Mountaineers have lost some key players in the transfer portal this offseason, with the addition of three-star wide receiver from Angelo State, Noah Massey, the Mountaineers have found another explosive wideout on the outside.
Massey has some huge potential as he steps on to the field at a towering 6-foot-4, 230-pounds. After back-to-back productive seasons at Angelo State, Massey’s dreams of contributing at a power five school are becoming a reality in Morgantown.
During his two seasons at Angelo State, Massey totaled 81 grabs for 1,083 yards and nine scores.
Massey spoke to Mountaineers Now about his recruitment saying, “I was ecstatic when I got the offer. I feel like I’m making progress towards my ultimate goal. It gave me reassurance my work is paying off knowing that a prestigious Power 5 school like WVU believes in me.”
While the Mountaineers are still unsure of who will be taking snaps at quarterback in the 2023 season, adding wide receiver help is a major plus for a young quarterback. Neal Brown is entering a must-win season following an underwhelming year in 2022, but with the addition of players like Noah Massey, Brown still shows that he can recruit key players.
