Bronny James’ First College Game Will Be Against Kansas State

Bronny James, son of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, will start his college career at USC this fall, and his first game in a Trojans uniform will come against a Big 12 opponent.
According to a report from Jon Rothstein, James and the Trojans will face Kansas State to begin their season on November 6 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Oregon will face Georgia in the other game of the doubleheader, says Rothstein.
James was ranked as the No. 22 overall player in the Class of 2023, and a Composite five-star player, according to 247Sports.
Meanwhile, Kansas State is coming off a run to the Elite Eight in Jerome Tang’s first season in Manhattan. With Keyontae Johnson and Markquis Nowell both headed out of the program, Tang and the Wildcats will be looking for some new faces to step up in 2023-24.
North Texas transfer Tylor Perry is expected to play a major role for the Cats next season, as are incoming freshmen Dai Dai Ames and RJ Jones.
With USC up first, the Wildcats will immediately face one of the top teams in the country, according to Rothstein, who has the Trojans at No. 10 in the Rothstein 45: Preseason Edition.
