Four-Star NC State Transfer Isaiah Miranda Commits to Oklahoma State

While the Cowboys roster has been picked apart this offseason with the departures from Avery Anderson, Kalib Boone, and Moussa Cisse in the transfer portal, they found themselves with some positive portal news on Sunday with the commitment of NC State transfer Isaiah Miranda.
Miranda is a freshman forward that stands a whopping 7-foot-1, and despite being one of the best players in the class of 2022, the California native didn’t get a single minute in his first year with the Wolfpack. He now joins Mike Boynton’s team which has been desperately in need of a big man to add some size to their squad for the upcoming season.
Coming out of high school, Miranda was listed as a four-star prospect by the 247Sports index, as well as one of the top 50 recruits in the nation. Miranda checked in as the nation’s 48th-ranked player, the 11th-ranked center in the country, and the sixth-best player in the state of California.
He now joins an Oklahoma State squad looking to improve from the 2022-2023 season where the Cowboys finished seventh in the Big 12 with an overall record of 20-16 and a conference record of 8-10.
