West Virginia Football Adds 2024 Three-Star OL Kyle Altuner
The West Virginia Mountaineers have added multiple players in the class of 2024 over the last few days, and with head coach Neal Brown on thin ice in Morgantown, the Mountaineers need all the help they can get.
West Virginia found their newest addition to the class of 2024 signees with the commitment of three-star offensive lineman Kyle Altuner, who is set to join Neal Brown on campus in 2024. Altuner received a whopping 20 different offers before committing to the Mountaineers on Saturday, including offers from Florida State, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Penn State, Tennessee, and more.
Altuner is listed as a three-star prospect by the 247Sports index, as well as the 864th-ranked player in the nation. The 6-foot-3 center also checks in as the 61st-ranked interior offensive lineman in the country, and the 20th-ranked prospect from the state of Maryland.
The Maryland native took an official visit to Morgantown on June 2nd and needed roughly one week to make his decision to commit to the Mountaineers. Altuner becomes the fifth commitment of West Virginia’s 2024 class, joining four-star edge rusher Obinna Onwuka, three-star wide receiver Keshawn Robinson, three-star defensive lineman Richard James Jr., and three-star tight end Jack Sammarco.
