NCAA Basketball: Kansas at Kansas State

Jerome Tang and the Kansas State Wildcats officially landed their second player of the offseason in the transfer portal with Creighton forward Arthur Kaluma headed to Manhattan.

Kaluma dropped out of the NBA Draft process and after announcing that he would be entering the transfer portal, the Wildcats got Kaluma on an official campus visit where the Arizona native announced his commitment.

Arthur Kaluma entered the transfer portal as the second-ranked power forward available after averaging 11.8 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game on 42.3% shooting from the field.

Coming out of high school, Kaluma was listed as a four-star prospect by the 247Sports index as well as a top 50 player in the nation. He checks in as the 49th-ranked player in the class of 2021, the 11th-ranked power forward in the country, and the fourth-ranked player in the state of Arizona.

The biggest game of the season for Kaluma came on December 10th, where he scored 27 points against BYU, a team that he will see again as a member of the Big 12 Conference. The Wildcats landed their second player of the offseason as Kaluma joins UNT guard Tylor Perry in Manhattan where the Wildcats prepare to follow up their 2022-23 season with another successful year under Jerome Tang.
