Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is the face of the NFL, and is coming off his second Super Bowl victory back in February, making him just the 13th quarterback in NFL history to win two or more Lombardi trophies.
With a retooled roster and the best offensive mind in football, the Chiefs look primed to make another run in 2023-24, but there’s still quite a bit of time before the 2023 NFL gets here. So, what are we to do until then? Don’t worry, Netflix has you covered.
On July 12, Netflix will release a limited series called Quarterback that follows three NFL quarterbacks throughout their season to give an inside perspective of what it’s like to play football at the highest level.
In addition to Mahomes, the series will also follow Minnesota Vikings’ QB Kirk Cousins and Atlanta Falcons’ QB Marcus Mariota.
Here’s the first glimpse of what to expect from the new series.
Seeing the day-to-day life of an NFL quarterback is an extremely intriguing prospect for sports fans, especially if you’re a fan of Mahomes, Cousins, or Mariota.
What’s also interesting is the wide array of experiences that we are going to get from seeing behind-the-scenes action from the best player in the league, an underrated player like Cousins, and a player that is fighting off a rookie for his job in Mariota.
