The Oklahoma State Cowboys just landed their ninth commitment in the class of 2024 with the commitment of offensive lineman Chauncey Johnson.

Johnson committed to Mike Gundy and the Cowboys over programs like Arkansas, Missouri, and Arkansas State, and is now set to join Oklahoma State in the 2024 season.

The 6-foot-4, 295-pound prospect attended and performed well at Mike Gundy’s Down and Dirty Lineman Camp last week. It was a fast turnaround for Johnson as Oklahoma State’s offensive line coach Charlie Dickey called Johnson on Monday and offered him a scholarship. Johnson took to Twitter on Tuesday to announce that he was headed to Stillwater on Friday for an official visit.

Johnson becomes the ninth commit in the class of 2024 joining a class of eight three-star prospects including safety Landyn Cleveland, linebacker Jaylen Boardley, wide receiver Tre Griffiths, safety Willie Nelson, safety David Kabongo, o-lineman Caleb Hackleman, running back Rodney Fields, and tight end Josh Ford. With Johnson’s commitment to the Cowboys, Oklahoma State has the 51st-ranked recruiting class in the country, and the seventh-best class in the Big 12 Conference.
