Texas Lands 2024 Four-Star IOL Nate Kibble

NCAA Football: Texas at West Virginia

The Texas Longhorns remained hot on the recruiting trail over the weekend, landing 2024 four-star interior offensive lineman Nate Kibble on Sunday evening.

Listed at 6-3, 315 pounds, Kibble already has an imposing presence for an interior lineman and has still yet to play his senior year of high school football.

According to ESPN, Kibble ranks as the No. 10 IOL in the class of 2024 and is the No. 39 player in the state of Texas. He also ranks as the No. 227 player in the nation, making him an ESPN 300 prospect.

Kibble chose the Longhorns over offers from LSU, Oregon, TCU, and Texas A&M, among others.

“Honestly man it’s the people,” Kibble told On3 as to why he chose Texas. “Everyone there fits my vibe and that’s from the players to the coaching staff and everyone in between. Then, Coach Flood, he has shown me the most love throughout this entire process.”

In the last 10 days, the Longhorns have secured five commitments, with Kibble being the latest on Sunday. His commitment gives Texas its seventh commitment for the class of 2024 class, which now ranks 28th nationally, according to On3.

As the summer prepares to turn over to July, it appears that Texas is once again red-hot on the recruiting trail and will start to make its ascent towards the top of the recruiting rankings once again.
