The Texas Tech Red Raiders are on an absolute hot streak of landing top recruits in the 2024 cycle over the past few days with the most recent addition being three-star cornerback Isaiah Collins.
Collins joins the Red Raiders after receiving offers from 11 different teams including schools like Baylor, Tulane, Houston, and Utah.
Collins is listed as a three-star prospect by the 247Sports index and currently ranks as the 64th-overall cornerback in the class of 2024 and the 102nd-ranked player in the state of Texas.
The Red Raiders have been on an absolute tear lately in the DB room as Collins joins three-star safety, Oliver Miles, four-star safety Peyton Morgan, and three-star safety Ashton Hampton who all committed to the Red Raiders on Saturday.
While Joey McGuire may still have some skeptics out there, no one can doubt his ability to recruit. Tech has made a living stealing top recruits from programs like Georgia, LSU, Alabama, and Ohio State over the last few days and with more players continuing to join the cause, I don’t expect things to slow down in Lubbock anytime soon.
Isaiah Collins and the rest of the class of 2024 will have an opportunity to watch their new team play on September 2nd when Joey McGuire and Texas Tech take the field for the first game of the season against Wyoming at 6:30 PM CST.
