Look: K-State Unveils New Morgan Family Volleyball Arena

The Kansas State Wildcats officially unveiled the new Morgan Family Volleyball Arena in Manhattan on Friday showcasing one of the most beautiful projects in the Big 12.

The new spot for the Kansas State Volleyball team to compete features multiple different training areas, brand-new main courts, and comes with purple stands and bleachers capable of housing an up-and-coming volleyball team in the Big 12.

The new facility features elements of limestone that can be seen in multiple buildings on campus, Bramlage Coliseum, and Bill Snyder Family Stadium giving the Wildcats Volleyball team a gameday element that adds to the history and tradition of K-State’s campus.

The Wildcats finished off last season with an overall record of 15-14 and a conference record of 6-10. With the new facility and a new fan environment, K-State adds another successful project to the recent run of athletic facilities upgrades around the Big 12 Conference.

K-State kicks off its 2023 season on the road against Portland State on August 25th before hosting its first match in the new Morgan Family Arena against Omaha on September 1st. While a new facility might not make or break the team’s chances of contending for a Big 12 title, it’s not a stretch to say everyone should enjoy the new upgrade.
