LSU SF Commit Devon Pryor Reclassifies to 2023 Joining Texas Basketball

Rodney Terry and the Texas Longhorns added a new player in the class of 2023 with former LSU commit Devon Pryor who reclassified to the class of 2023 and committed to join the Longhorns in the fall.
Pryor joins the Longhorns after receiving offers from nine schools outside of Texas including LSU, Colorado, Oklahoma State, Penn State, Sam Houston State, TCU, Texas A&M, and Virginia Tech.
Pryor is listed as a three-star prospect by the 247Sports index and currently ranks as the nation’s 122nd-overall prospect. While Pryor has officially reclassified to the class of 2023, he originally checked in as the 28th-ranked small forward in the class of 2024 and the seventh-ranked player in the state of Texas.
The 6-foot-7 small forward now joins Rodney Terry in his second season at the helm for the Longhorns in hopes of following up last year’s Elite Eight run with a Big 12 title, and another deep playoff run.
Pryor becomes the Longhorns’ second commitment in the class of 2023 joining former Kansas signee Chris Johnson, who rerouted to the Longhorns in Austin after being granted release from his NLI at Kansas. The Longhorns have their work cut out for them in their final season of Big 12 basketball as they depart for the SEC in 2024.
