Arch Manning Signs Multi-Year NIL Deal with Panini American
Texas Longhorns freshman quarterback Arch Manning has officially signed his first NIL Deal, an exclusive deal with Panini American trading cards.
Manning released a video detailing the partnership and mentioning that the duo would be auctioning off a one-of-one Arch Manning autographed prizm black football card where 100% of the proceeds will go to a central Texas non-profit.
Manning is currently heading into his freshman season sitting behind sophomore Quinn Ewers, who on paper has all of the tools necessary to lead the Longhorns to a Big 12 title in the event that can stay on the field. Ewers missed six games in the 2022 season which called for veteran Hudson Card to take over and with Card entering the transfer portal and heading to Purdue, Manning could see some action if Ewers health struggles continue.
A few months earlier, the Manning family instructed Arch that he wasn’t allowed to get an NIL deal until he was listed as the starting quarterback in Austin, according to head coach Steve Sarkisian. Flash forward to July 25th and Arch Manning is staring at a lucrative deal with Panini American despite not yet having earned the starting job.
The Longhorns kick their season off on September 2nd against Rice in what could be the start of Manning’s historic collegiate career, or what could be a season watching Quinn Ewers succeed.
