Houston Softball Adds Nicholls P Paris Lehman in Transfer Portal

The Houston Cougars have a new pitcher in town with the addition of Nicholls transfer pitcher Paris Lehman who committed to Houston in the transfer portal.

Lehman recorded the most appearances in the circle for the Colonels in her freshman season with 18 of 37 starts. She went 5-16 in her outings with an ERA of 4.99 over 133.1 innings pitched. She also added two saves, 52 strikeouts, and forty walks including six complete games.

Lehman becomes the ninth commitment for the Cougars this offseason in the transfer portal joining UT Arlington’s P Tamya Waiters, Michigan State INF Mandy Esman, Arizona State INF Jazmyn Rollin, Tennessee INF Lair Beautae, Michigan State INF Zaquai Dumas, Seaton Hall P Shelby Smith, California C/OF Kennedy Thomas, and Maryland P Nicole Bodeux all en route to Houston

Houston finished off last season in the AAC with an overall record of 20-30, 7-10 in conference play. While the team is facing a move to the Big 12 Conference with some of the best competition in the country, the Houston Cougars look to take the next step through the addition or Paris Lehman and the rest of the incoming players.
