TCU Four-Star WR Commit Adrian Wilson Flips to Oregon
Sonny Dykes and the TCU Horned Frogs won a major recruiting battle in June with the commitment of four-star wide receiver Adrian Wilson, however, things have now changed for the Horned Frogs as Wilson recently flipped his commitment to Oregon.
Wilson, listed at 6-2, 173 pounds, is a product of Pflugerville (TX) Weiss High School, where he is set to play his junior year of football. He decided to join the Horned Frogs back on June 25th before decommitting just one month later and joining the Ducks on Saturday.
Wilson is actually cousins with former Texas Tech pass rusher Tyree Wilson, who was selected with the seventh overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. The Texas native is listed as a four-star prospect by the 247Sports index and currently ranks as the nation’s 85th-overall prospect. He also checks in as the 14th-ranked wide receiver in the class of 2025 and the 11th-best player in the state of Texas.
While the loss is a big one for the Horned Frogs, they enter the 2023 season fresh off of an appearance in the national championship game under Sunny Dykes, and have completely revamped their recruiting efforts in just one year.
TCU kicks off its season off on September 2nd against Deion Sanders and a future Big 12 team, in the Colorado Buffaloes in what should loosely be the first look at a Big 12 legacy school returning home.
