K-State Athletes Report for ‘Back to School Day’ to Start Fall Camp

While collegiate athletes reporting for fall camp may not always get the love they deserve, the Kansas State Wildcats showed up for fall camp alongside back-to-school banners and pictures for each athlete.

K-State’s social media team treated each athlete with a special greeting by posting a picture of each athlete holding a sign with their name, teacher’s name AKA Chris Klieman, position, and future dream job which made for some great photos.

K-State enters fall camp as both the reigning champions in the Big 12 Conference as well as a top contender to win the title in 2023 after being picked to finish second in the league’s preseason media polls.

Featured in the photos above are two of the Wildcats’ top players in senior quarterback Will Howard, and fifth-year offensive lineman Cooper Beebe, both of which should have a shot at successful careers in the NFL.

The Wildcats finished off the 2022 season with an overall record of 10-4, 7-2 in conference play, and capped the season off with a win in the Big 12 title game against the TCU Horned Frogs which secured the Cats’ first Big 12 Championship win since the 2012 season.

Chris Klieman and the Kansas State Wildcats kick their season off on September 2nd against SEMO in what should be a much-needed dose of college football for fans everywhere.
