Social Media Wishes Mike Gundy a Happy Birthday
Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy is officially celebrating his 56th birthday on Saturday and with Gundy being one of the biggest personalities in the Big 12 Conference, the social media world chimed in with some great reactions.
The birthday boy was welcomed on social media with some classic Mike Gundy moments as well as birthday wishes from various friends, coaches, and competitors across the league.
Gavin Gundy, son of Mike Gundy, started the festivities off by wishing his dad a happy birthday with a caption that reads, “Happy birthday to the king himself.”
Mike Gundy has been one of the most outspoken coaches in all of college football since his arrival to Stillwater, and with viral moments happing on a seemingly weekly basis, Gundy has some incredible moments to share including this photo of a young coach Gundy wearing the headset many years ago.
Gundy kicks off his 19th year in Stillwater with a matchup against the Central Arkansas Bears on September 2nd, and while the Cowboys have experienced an excess of roster turnover this offseason, Gundy and his coaching staff have their sights set on finding a way back to the top of the Big 12 Conference in 2023.
