Deion Sanders is one of the most captivating personalities in all of collegiate athletics, and the Big 12’s newest showman made that well-known on Saturday against TCU.
Sanders’ group upset the TCU Horned Frogs with an impressive performance leading to a 45-42 win, but when Coach Prime took the field for the first time, TCU fans received something special. Sanders was welcomed with some vulgar words from TCU fans on Saturday morning which prompted Sanders to blow a kiss to the fans in response.
Sanders is the human embodiment of swagger, and while it’s easy for fans to get caught up in Coach Prime’s personality off the field, Sanders and his coaching staff backed it up with a special performance in Week 1.
The Buffaloes hit the road to Ft. Worth on Saturday to take on the national champion runner-up TCU Horned Frogs and while Sanders’ group was picked as a three-touchdown underdog heading into the matchup, Coach Prime got the last laugh as his squad put on a performance for the ages securing a 45-42 win.
The Buffaloes take on Nebraska on Saturday for Big Noon kickoff and are currently favored by three points as the betting favorite. With Deion Sanders headed to the Big 12 in 2024, the league continues to elevate in terms of notoriety especially if the Buffs can stay on this path.
