Watch: Nick Saban Handles Radio Caller in Epic Fashion

Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide suffered their first loss of the season in Week 2 when the Texas Longhorns came into Tuscaloosa and handed them their worst home loss since 2004.
Many Alabama fans, who have watched Saban lead the Tide to six national championships and eight SEC titles, are pretty much calling their season over with before it even starts conference play.
One fan, known as “Pee Wee,” regularly calls in to discuss his concerns with Saban on “Hey Coach” and made his regular appearance on the show this week, and Saban was ready for him this time around.
“Well Pee Wee, I’ve been wanting to talk to you all week man,” Saban said with a bit of a grin. “We’re setting too soft, we’re getting pushback in the middle, and everybody thinks we can’t hold up against the blitz but they’re sacking us with four-man rush, one three-man rush. Only one sack came off of a pressure. So, I wanted to ask you, what the hell’s going on?”
This is an epic moment from Saban, who has actually done a wonderful job managing the fan base over the years. When you’ve had the unprecedented success that he’s had in Tuscaloosa, it tends to give fans a skewed perception of just how good things are. But, that’s the price of being the best to ever do it.
Saban and the Tide are on the road this week against South Florida and will get SEC play started next week with Ole Miss coming to town.
