Kansas vs. BYU Week 4 Game Officially Sold Out

NCAA Football: Illinois at Kansas

The Kansas Jayhawks have been leveling up their program on and off the field since Lance Leipold took over as head coach, and as the expectations for the 2023 squad continue to climb, so do the number of fans in attendance.

The Jayhawks are set to take on Kalani Sitake and the BYU Cougars on Saturday in the first Big 12 matchup of the season for both squads which is a game that will feature a sold-out crowd in Lawrence.

The Week 3 matchup between the Cougars and the Jayhawks will feature two undefeated teams as both squads enter Lawrence with 3-0 records in the non-conference schedule. The Jayhawks are fresh off of a 31-24 win over the Nevada Wolfpack while the BYU Cougars head into Week 4 following the most impressive win in the Big 12 against the Arkansas Razorbacks, 38-31.

Kansas is currently listed as a nine-point favorite by DraftKings Sportsbook, and while the Cougars are listed as a two-score underdog on the road, Kalani Sitake’s squad is familiar with the assignment as they left Fayetteville with an outright win last week against Arkansas after being labeled as a 9.5-point underdog at the time of kickoff.

Saturday’s game between the two programs kicks off at 2:30 PM CT on September 23rd, and while tickets to the event may be sold out, fans can tune into the matchup between undefeated squads on ESPN.
