Jalon Daniels Reaggravates Back Ahead of Texas Game

Kansas quarterback Jalon Daniels suffered another setback on Saturday morning reaggravating a previous back injury ahead of the Jayhawks Week 5 matchup against the No. 3 Texas Longhorns.
Daniels missed the first game of the season due to a lingering back injury, but he returned to the field for the last three games.
Bean took the majority of reps with the starting offense in warm-ups on Saturday morning and while hopes of upsetting the Longhorns may have looked grim in the eyes of Jayhawks fans, Bean steps in as reliable backup with some big moments in college football.
Jason Bean saw action in the Jayhawks home opener against Missouri State leading Kansas to a 48-17 win over the Bears. Bean finished his day with 22 completions for 276 yards and two scores while adding six carries for 39 yards on the ground.
Bean and the Jayhawks take the field as 16-point underdogs to the Longhorns on Saturday in a matchup of Top 25, undefeated teams looking to advance to 5-0.
