Big 12 Football Spreads Announced for Week 8
With Week 7 of the college football season officially in the books, we now take a look ahead at Week 8 which features some of the great games of the 2023 season. Big 12 lines in the upcoming week have been listed courtesy of Circa Sports, and with that said, here is a look ahead at some of the Big 12 lines for Week 8 of the college football season.
BIG 12 WEEK 8 LINES
Baylor +1 at Cincinnati
Oklahoma State +2 at West Virginia
Texas Tech -2 at BYU
UCF +17 at Oklahoma
Texas -20 at Houston
TCU +6 at Kansas State
The largest line of the weekend in the Big 12 was awarded to the game between the Texas Longhorns and the Houston Cougars as the Longhorns are currently listed as 20-point favorites in Houston. Steve Sarkisian’s squad enjoyed a much-needed off-week after suffering their first loss of the season against Oklahoma in Week 6. Houston enters the matchup following one of the wildest endings to a game in the Week 7 slate after a late Hail Mary secured the win for Dana Holgorsen’s team.
The smallest line of the weekend was awarded to Saturday’s matchup between Baylor and Cincinnati which is currently listed in favor of Cincinnati -1. Both the Bears and the Bearcats have had a rough stretch of games lately but with Cincinnati looking to earn their first Big 12 Conference win, they earned the nod over Baylor.
While the Week 8 games should feature some tightly contested matchups, the real winners of the weekend are college football fans who get to watch their teams take the field in hopes of contending for a league title.
