2024 Three-Star OL Semisi Tonga Commits to Oklahoma State

Mike Gundy and the Oklahoma State Cowboys added a new name to the class of 2024 with the commitment of three-star offensive lineman Semisi Tonga.

Tonga chose to join the Cowboys after receiving offers from 12 different schools including Colorado, Utah, Nebraska, Oregon, UCLA, and more.

Tonga became the second commitment for the Cowboys following Saturday’s 39-32 win over Kansas, joining his high school teammate and fellow three-star offensive lineman in the class of 2024, Nuku Mafi, who committed shortly after the win on Saturday night. The duo lined up on the offensive line for West High School in Salt Lake City and will now do the same upon arrival in Stillwater.

Semisi Tonga is listed as a three-star prospect by the 247Sports index and is currently graded as the nation’s 1191st-ranked prospect. He also checks in as the 89th-ranked interior offensive lineman in his class, and the 12th-ranked player in the state of Utah.

Mike Gundy’s Oklahoma State squad had an impressive showing in Week 7 of the college football season earning a win against 23rd-ranked Kansas on Saturday, which made a lasting impact on the pair of recruits. The Cowboys enter Week 8 with an interesting matchup against the West Virginia Mountaineers as both squads look to secure their fifth win of the season.
