Watch: UCF WR Javon Baker Blows Kiss to Oklahoma Sideline During 86-Yard Score

While UCF heading into the halftime break tied at 17 with the Oklahoma Sooners was not on my bingo card for Week 8, one player who did see it coming was UCF wide receiver Javon Baker.

Baker and the Knights offense put up a massive 86-yard score before the halftime break to take the lead, and as Baker made his way to the end zone, the Georgia native blew a kiss to the Oklahoma sideline.

Javon Baker has been one of the consistent threats in the UCF passing attack this season as he averaged an impressive 19.9 yards per catch before heading into Saturday’s contest.

Baker has brought in 21 grabs for 417 yards and two scores this season and continues to make big plays as he looks to get the Knights season back on track. Senior quarterback John Rhys Plumlee’s return to football has been a huge turnaround for Gus Malzahn’s squad as the Mississippi native continues to dice up Oklahoma’s defense, which happens to be one of the best units in the country.

The Knights have an uphill battle to leave Norman with a win but if Baker and the rest of the Knights can continue to fight wire-to-wire, Brent Venables’ squad could be looking at their first loss of the season.
