Kansas State Wing Nae’Qwan Tomlin Arrested for Disorderly Conduct

NCAA Basketball: Kansas at Kansas State

Kansas State wing Nae’Qwan Tomlin was arrested on Saturday night in Manhattan for disorderly conduct and brawling or fighting in Aggieville at Tubby’s Sports Bar.

Tomlin is one of the key returning members of Jerome Tang’s squad in the upcoming season as he is the leading scorer (10.4) and rebounder (5.9) among returning players in Manhattan.

Tomlin was a key contributor in the 2022-23 season as the team’s third-leading scorer behind Keyontae Johnson and Markquis Nowell. Tomlin has started to get some serious NBA buzz as a potential lottery pick appearing on NBA Draft big boards across the country.

247Sports’ Travis Branham released his picks for the first edition of his NBA Draft big board and listed Tomlin as the 30th overall pick of the 2024 Draft closing out the first round.

Despite the arrest of Tomlin, it was a big recruiting weekend in Manhattan. Jerome Tang and the coaching staff welcomed five-star forward Patrick Ngongba to town on Friday for an official visit.

The Wildcats head to Las Vegas on Monday, November 6th to take on Bronny James and the USC Trojans as they get set to tip off the 2023-24 season on TNT.
