By now, you’ve heard about the NIL deal that Iowa Pork Producers signed with several Iowa State players back in September.
If you haven’t, Cyclone football players Myles Purchase, Tyler Moore, Tommy Hamann, and Caleb Bacon announced a new NIL deal with the Iowa Pork Producers Association encouraging Iowa State fans to buy ham and bacon in celebration of big wins on the football field.
The deal went viral, with over 2.6M views on the post since September 25, and it’s quite a genius collective NIL deal for both the players and Iowa Pork Producers.
Now, there’s a sequel to the original deal, and this one is in video form.
The inclusion of linebacker Alec Cook in this deal is a no-brainer and makes what is already the best NIL deal in the country even better. His last-second addition to the shot was hilarious, and this post is well on its way to surpassing the original, with around 200K views in the first three hours of its time up on Twitter.
The Cyclones are gearing up for a huge game against No. 22 Kansas this weekend, and will be in front of a home crowd inside Jack Trice Stadium on Saturday night.
