Texas Tech Top Recruit Micah Hudson Will Enroll Early

NCAA Football: Montana State at Texas Tech

Saturday was a great day for Joey McGuire’s group as the Texas Tech Red Raiders took down No. 16 Kansas on the road before getting some great news from the team’s top prospect.

Five-Star Texas Tech wide receiver commit Micah Hudson announced on Saturday afternoon that he is planning to enroll early with the Red Raiders and head to Lubbock in December.

Hudson is listed as a five-star prospect by the 247Sports index and currently ranks as the ninth-overall prospect in the class of 2024. He also checks in as the second-ranked wide receiver in his class and the second-ranked player in the state of Texas.

The Red Raiders’ top prospect has been one of the most productive players in the country during his high school career as he snagged 132 catches for 2,515 yards and 29 receiving touchdowns in three seasons at Lake Belton. He also was a productive contributor in the ground game rushing 107 times for 1,085 yards and 10 scores.

Hudson will now head to Lubbock in December in the early signing period as the Texas native looks to get a head start on preparing for Big 12 football.
