The Big 12 men’ basketball season starts Week 2 of the season on Monday with games around the country and teams beginning to head to non-conference tournaments.

Kansas vs. Kentucky, at Chicago
How To Watch: 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, ESPN (at Chicago)
The Jayhawks’ annual trip to Chicago to play in the Champions Classic pits them against another blueblood, the Kentucky Wildcats. Come for the College Football Playoff rankings between games and the debate about the contracts of coaches Bill Self (who is now No. 1) and John Calipari (who was No. 1).
Oklahoma State vs. St. Bonaventure, at Brooklyn, N.Y.
How to Watch: 5:30 p.m., Thursday, ESPNU
With Oklahoma State’s season-opening loss to Abilene Christian, this neutral site game in Brooklyn is actually critical for the Cowboys. St. Bonaventure is a quality mid-major program and a loss here won’t hurt as much as the one to ACU. But, it would leave Oklahoma State with two of them.
Kansas State vs. Providence (at Nassau)
How to Watch: 5 p.m., Friday, CBSSN
The Wildcats are trying to put that season-opening loss to USC behind them. No better way to do it than a few days in the Bahamas playing basketball, am I right? Providence should give the Wildcats a solid test.
