How To Watch Big 12 Biggest Men’s Basketball Games For Week 3
The Big 12 men’ basketball season starts Week 3 of the season on Monday with games around the country and some teams heading to Thanksgiving week tournaments.
Here’s the complete schedule, how to watch each game and, if you’re so inclined, the three must-watch games of the week.
Texas vs. UConn or Indiana
How To Watch: 3:30 or 6 p.m., Monday, ESPNU (at Chicago)
Anytime you get the chance to play in basketball’s biggest venue, Madison Square Garden, it’s a big game. Texas has to face Louisville first, but assuming the Longhorns win and UConn wins, it could be a game between two teams that were the final eight standing in last year’s NCAA Tournament. Of course, UConn went on to win the whole thing.
Texas Tech vs. Villanova
How to Watch: 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, ESPN/2 (at Paradise Island, Bahamas)
It’s an early opportunity for the Red Raiders to gauge where they are under first-year coach Grant McCasland. Villanova is now the Wildcats of Jay Wright, but as a Big East team they’ll give the Red Raiders all they can handle in the first round of their tournament in the Bahamas.
BYU vs. Arizona State
How to Watch: 11 p.m., Thursday, ESPN2 (at Las Vegas, Nev.)
BYU is off to a strong 4-0 start and has already notched a big win in non-conference by beating San Diego State. But Arizona State is a team that Cougars will have to get used to facing in Big 12 action once the Sun Devils join the Big 12 next athletic season. Plus, it’s a great excuse to stay up late.
