Former Iowa State guard Tyrese Haliburton has been one of the best players in the NBA this season and continues to turn heads each time he takes the court.
Haliburton joined the elite company of Michael Jordan and LeBron James as the third player in NBA history to average 25 and 10, while shooting 50% from the field, and 40% from three over a month period.
Haliburton has been on another planet in the month of November averaging 28.6 points, and 11.7 assists, while shooting 53.2% from the field and 46.7 from the three-point stripe. While accomplishing these feats over a month period is impressive in its own right, Haliburton’s season-long numbers have looked similar.
In 16 games played so far in 2023, the Wisconsin native is averaging 27 points, 11.8 assists, and 3.6 rebounds while shooting 51.9% from the field, 44.7% from three, and 88% from the free throw line.
Haliburton has become one of the NBA’s most-improved players since being drafted out of Iowa State with the 12th pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, and after spending his first two seasons with the Scrememento Kings, Haliburton was traded to the Indiana Pacers where his career took off.
Haliburton and the Pacers will take the court next on Saturday, December 2nd against the Miami Heat at 7:00 PM CT.
