Texas Players Call Out Ollie Gordon After Big 12 Title

While Oklahoma State running back Ollie Gordon II has commanded respect from many in college football, don’t count some of the more prominent Texas Longhorns on that list.

Gordon made headlines on social media by calling out Texas while running out of the tunnel at AT&T Stadium ahead of the Big 12 Championship Game, which prompted multiple Longhorns to respond by calling out Gordon on socials.

Texas linebacker Jaylan Ford started things off by posting a tweet following the Longhorns 49-21 win about Gordon that reads, “He had 34 yards.”

Ford was followed up by tight end Ja’Tavion Sanders calling Gordon a clown on social media, directly responding to a video of Gordon yelling, “F*** Texas.”

Stud defensive lineman Byron Murphy also chimed in.

Needless to say, some of the key Texas players were fired up about Ollie Gordon’s pre-game comments and relished in some social media trash talk after the game.

Now, we wait and see if the College Football Playoff committee will put the Longhorns into the College Football Playoff on Sunday afternoon.
