How To Watch Big 12 Biggest Men’s Basketball Games For Week 5

TCU head coach Jamie Dixon.

The Big 12 men’s basketball season starts Week 5 of the season on Monday with games around the country and the conclusion of the latest Big 12-BIG EAST Battle.

There are plenty of great cross-conference matchups this week.

Here’s the complete schedule, how to watch each game and, if you’re so inclined, the three must-watch games of the week.

Villanova at Kansas State

How To Watch: 6 p.m., Tuesday, ESPN2

This game is super-interesting after Saturday. Kansas State struggled and had to beat North Alabama in overtime. Villanova fell to Drexel. Still, both are over .500 and this could be the most interesting remaining game on the Big 12-Big EAST slate, given that the teams seem evenly matched.

Texas at Marquette

How to Watch: 7 p.m., Wednesday, FS1

Yes, Villanova-Kansas State could be the most interesting. But this game SHOULD be the most interesting, based on their top rankings and Marquette’s earlier win this season over Kansas. Plus, it’s a fun revenge game for Marquette coach Shaka Smart. You may have heard that he used to coach at Texas.

TCU vs. Clemson

How to Watch: 3 p.m., Saturday (at Toronto, Ontario), FS1

Put a couple of hours aside and watch this one because it represents one of TCU’s biggest tests before it gets into Big 12 play. TCU had to slip by Georgetown, which is rebuilding after the Patrick Ewing era. Clemson got off to a 6-0 start to the season. Given that it’s a neutral site game, it should be a highly competitive showdown.
