Danny Stutsman Leaving Oklahoma to Enter 2024 NFL Draft: Report

The Oklahoma Sooners will be losing Danny Stutsman, as the linebacker has declared for the 2024 NFL Draft, according to Sooner Scoop.

Stutsman reportedly told head coach Brent Venables about his plans on Wednesday.

Danny Stutsman finished second in the Big 12 Conference with 9.0 tackles per game, racking up 99 total tackles in 11 games, along with three sacks on the season. Stutsman was a First-Team All-Big 12 selection this season.

 

Oklahoma will be joining the SEC for the 2024 football season and will now have to fill the void of one of their top players. Stutsman and the Sooners finished fourth in the Big 12 in points per game allowed, at 22.3 ppg, while the ranked sixth in total yards allowed per game, at 390.3 ypg.

The deadline to declare for the 2024 NFL Draft is on January 15. The 2024 NFL Scouting Combine, to be held in Indianapolis, Indiana from February 26 through March 4.The 2024 NFL Draft will be held in Detroit, Michigan, with the first round on Thursday, April 25, the second and third rounds on Friday, April 26, and the fourth through seventh rounds on Saturday, April 27.
