Colorado Lands No. 1 OL in 2024 Class, Jordan Seaton
Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes got off to a red-hot start in 2023, jumping out to a 3-0 start and ascending into the AP Top 25. However, the Buffs ran into a wall after that, losing eight of their final nine games and finishing the year 4-8.
The Colorado offensive line was a major reason for their struggles, giving up as many sacks as anyone in the nation and providing no semblance of a running game down the stretch despite having capable playmakers at running back.
As a result, getting better in the trenches is the top priority in Boulder this offseason, and Thursday provided one heck of a start for Coach Prime and his staff as 2024 five-star offensive lineman Jordan Seaton announced his pledge to Colorado.
Seaton, the No. 1 offensive lineman in the 2024 class, is listed at 6-foot-6, 290 pounds out of high school, and held offers from over 40 Division I programs. In the end, the senior at IMG Academy and Washington D.C. native narrowed his list of finalists down to Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, Maryland, Ohio State, Oregon, and of course, Colorado.
After adding the No. 13 overall player in the class, according to Rivals, Colorado’s 2024 class moves up to 55th nationally with just nine players committed.
The Buffs will be a major player in the transfer portal and will hope to make a quick climb up the recruiting rankings by February. After that, they’ll begin spring football in preparation for the first season in the Big 12.
