Nae’Qwan Tomlin Gets Huge Applause at Kansas State Graduation

NCAA Basketball: Kansas at Kansas State

While Nae’Qwan Tomlin‘s time as a member of the Kansas State Wildcats basketball team has officially come to an end, he was able to cross a major milestone off the list by graduating on Saturday.

Despite being dismissed from the basketball team on Wednesday, Wildcats fans showed up in full support of Tomlin at his graduation ceremony with a loud cheer for Tomlin as his name was honored as a college graduate.

Tomlin became the first member of his family to graduate from college and even received some praise from Head Basketball Coach Jerome Tang after the Wildcats took down the LSU Tigers 75-60 on Saturday afternoon.

While Tomlin received some praise for his accomplishment at graduation, his time as a Wildcat officially came to an end on Friday when Tomlin entered his name into the transfer portal.

Tomlin now becomes one of the top available players in the portal at the semester break and after graduating from Kansas State on Saturday, he is immediately eligible to play at a separate program in January.

Despite the loss of Nae’Qwan Tomlin, Jerome Tang’s crew will take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers on December 17th, live on ESPN+.
